Snow RemovalFor snow removal, the Street Dept asks that vehicles be removed from the roadway when snowfall is over 2" in order to properly clear the streets. Leaf and Brush PickupSpring Leaf Pick-up is April 4-5, and Spring Brush Pick-up is April 7. Fall pickup is generally in October. Garbage and RecyclingGarbage and Recycling pick-up is on Friday except for major holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. Then pick-up is Saturday. Please have garbage and recycling out by 6 AM. If residents have a large item they need picked up, they need to call Republic Services at 219-987-5313. The item will be picked up in a separate truck. Electronic items are no longer picked up.
